Paint What You See

Oftentimes families ask me about why we feel it is so important to build our endowment. One very clear answer to this question is to support programs like this one.

Our Visiting Artist program is so special—and this year painter Rory Jackson was able to work with our Middle and Upper School students. He encouraged our children “to paint what you see, not what you know.” He showed them how there really are no mistakes, just opportunities to take your art in various directions.

I think you will enjoy watching this master painter work with our children—and you will clearly see how much they enjoyed the process.
