That “light-bulb moment!” In this case, it is not just the moment that a great idea hits; it is actually a time when you make a light bulb turn on! The 6th grade electricity project is a yearly favorite—and this year was no different. I love this project because not only do the students leave with a deep knowledge of electricity and circuits, but they also are challenged once again to explore those powerhouse skills that are so important to success in education and in life. The ability to work in groups, to manage time, to think creatively, and to show grit are all woven into the fabric of this project. I hope this short video illuminates an aspect of the school that is so special!
