Despite a slight chill in the air, Homecoming and Walkathon 2015 became a beautiful sun-filled day with over 1,500 people on campus. The day was filled with great sports games, a fantastic performance by our GCDS dancers, a Walkathon that raised nearly $50,000 to support the Guide Dog Foundation and Helen Keller International, and scores of alumni on campus who reunited with friends from days gone by.
I was so happy with the event because, more than anything, it was yet another chance to feel the magical energy that reminds us Country Day is a family school with adults and children who care about each other, their world, and having fun.
Is there a better way to spend a Saturday?
